At QuickGig Inc. ("QuickGig," "we," "our," or "us"), your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use the QuickGig website or mobile application ("Platform"). By creating an account or using QuickGig, you consent to the practices described below.

- To process payments through Stripe
- To enforce Terms of Service and community rules
- To communicate support responses or policy changes
We never sell or rent user data.
3. Sharing of Information
We share user data only when necessary:
- With other users – limited to information required to complete a job (posting details, chat name, rating).
- With service providers – such as Stripe (for payment processing) and our cloud hosting provider (for secure data storage).
- For legal reasons – if required to comply with law or prevent fraud, harm, or illegal activity.
4. Automated Content Moderation (AI)
QuickGig uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to help keep the platform safe:
- Job titles and descriptions you submit are automatically screened by an AI content-moderation service before being published.
- This screening checks for prohibited content such as illegal activity, sexual services, hate speech, scams, and requests for sensitive personal information.
- Content submitted for moderation is processed by our AI provider solely to return an allow/block decision. It is not used to train AI models.
- Automated decisions may occasionally be inaccurate. If your post is blocked and you believe it was a mistake, contact quickgig.ca@gmail.com and a person will review it.
We do not use AI to make decisions about payments, account bans, or anything with legal or financial consequences without human review.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored securely on encrypted cloud servers.
- We follow commercially reasonable measures to protect against loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure.
- No internet transmission is 100% secure; use QuickGig at your own risk.
6. Cookies & Tracking
QuickGig uses cookies and analytics tools to:
- Keep you logged in
- Measure traffic and performance
- Improve features and bug tracking
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working properly.
7. Data Retention
We keep account data as long as your account is active or as required to comply with law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing quickgig.ca@gmail.com.

- Use built-in chat for job discussion and avoid sharing sensitive info like bank details or SIN.
- Our team may review reported chats only to investigate violations of our Community Guidelines.
11. Liability and Risk
QuickGig acts only as a platform for connecting users. You use it at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or disputes that occur between users, on or off the platform.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on our website or by email. The date above shows the latest revision.
